Elite 400m offered annually as part of

 

American Milers Club HP Series.

 

Entry Procedures:       

1) Send e-mail to: Coach Harger

             -include best mark in 2009 & 2010 and PR if a different year

             -add best mark in 2008 if no significant 2009 or 2010 mark exists

             -marks will be verified at tilastopaja.org

2) Initial e-mail of entry interest will be taken as a request for an invitation.

3) Invitations (entry acceptance) will involve verification of fitness/entry before official posting of entry acceptance (invitation to compete).

 

ASC HP Series ENTRY QUALIFICATIONS REQUIREMENTS

The primary intent of these meets/races is the generation of USATF National Qualification marks and International Qualification marks. 

Minimum fitness for respective races must be:

100 (Men/Women)        200 (Men/Women)      400 (Men/Women)       110/100 (Men/Women)       400H (Men/Women)

10.60/11.80                   20.95/24.10                  47.90/55.20                  13.98/13.85                        52.50/59.80

 

NOTE #1 - Entries submitted that can not be verified will not be considered. 

NOTE #2 – A limited number of quality non-qualifiers may be accepted with the understanding that they will serve as "field fillers" (if needed) in exchange for racing opportunities during the ASC HP Series of races.  Preferential consideration will be given for those athletes that have participated in past ASC HP Series races.

 

 

Entry Fee:   $30 CASH, payable at the track 90 minutes before the first scheduled ASC event…

May 22           ASC I = Session I at 6:30 PM, Session II at 8:30 PM          

June 12          ASC II = Session I at 6:30 PM, Session II at 8:30 PM         

June 16          ASC III = Session I at 6:30 PM, Session II at 8:30 PM  

June 19          ASC III = Session I at 6:30 PM, Session II at 8:30 PM

High Performance Commitment: Every effort will be made to maximize these HP race opportunities.  With the races set in the late afternoon and early evening the Mondo surface will be in its fastest condition. We will also operate with a close eye on the weather.  With the meets focused on a relatively small number of races we are easily able to make adjustments in the time schedule to avoid any unexpected weather interference.  Because of this approach to the race schedule ALL ATHLETES or their representative will be required to check-in no later than 90 minutes before the first scheduled race to receive any final adjustments in planned race times and for final race section assignments.
